After the Sunday service on June 28th, the congregation headed to Faith House for the annual church picnic. The tables were covered with wonderful homemade "goodies" including the wonderful brisket and ham that have become traditions. The dessert table virtually groaned under the weight of pies, cakes, and cookies. The big backyard, shaded with trees beckoned, but most of the congregation stayed inside instead of braving the 100+ degree heat. Next year we will play softball on the grass!
