Presbyterian Women Bible Study Begins
September 14 at 10AM!
You’re invited!!
We meet for Bible study at 10:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June. Quarterly, our meetings include our world famous salad luncheon when each member brings a salad to share. ALL are welcome.
This year we are studying the Beatitudes using our study guide, Confessing the Beatitudes by Margaret Aymer. Our author for the study focuses on the teachings of Jesus in Matthew and Luke, helping readers connect faith with daily life. By accompanying readers through a process of reflection and confession, she addresses some of the most difficult issues facing the world today.
The author, Margaret Aymer is associate professor of New Testament and chair of Biblical Studies at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is the author of several books as well as various academic and liturgical articles and resources.
Members of St. Andrew PW will lead our Bible Study. The Bible Study guide books are available in the church office or from Dottie Ammerman and are $8.87 each.
The stated purposes of Presbyterian Women (PW) are to
